Ring size guide
The right size makes a ring comfortable to wear. You can measure your finger at home in two ways:
1. String or paper strip
- Cut a thin piece of string or a narrow strip of paper, about 10 cm long.
- Wrap it snugly around the finger where you will wear the ring.
- Mark with a pen where the end meets the start.
- Lay it flat next to a ruler and measure the length in millimetres. That is your finger circumference.
- Type the number into the box below to see your size.
2. A ring you own
- Pick a ring that fits the right finger just how you like it. It must be a complete circle.
- Place it next to a ruler and measure the inside diameter in millimetres, from inner edge to inner edge.
- Compare the number to the size chart, or type it into the box below.

The number under each size is the inside diameter of the ring.
Tips
- Measure in the evening, when your fingers are at their largest. Fingers are smaller in the cold or first thing in the morning.
- A wide band feels tighter than a narrow one. If you are between two sizes, choose the larger.
- Measure the finger the ring will go on. Your knuckle may be wider than the base of the finger, and the ring has to slide over it.
- Repeat the measurement on two different days for a reliable result.
